Photograph by Kevin Carter:
This photograph showing a starving Sudanese child being stalked by a vulture won Kevin Carter the 1994 Pulitzer Prize for feature photography.
The photo is the "Pulitxer prize" winning photo taken in 1994 during the Sudan famine. The picture depicts a famine stricken child crawling towards an United Nations food camp, located a kilometer away.
The vulture is waiting for the child to die so that it can eat it. This picture shocked the whole world. No one knows what happened to the child, including the photographer Kevin Carter who left the place as soon as the photograph was taken.
Three months later, he committed suicide due to depression.

after the photo was shot did the photographer feed the child this world is fucked up
wow..*stares in shock* didn't he think to at least help the poor kid? The whole prize giving thing just proves that people make fun of others misery...
Have you ever been in that situation? This is the life of those who live in Sudan. Was Kevin Carter meant to save every human being living in Sudan at the time? No, he was simply showing the world reality-so maybe then peopel would make a difference
